Privacy and diagnostics
Updated 2026-07-06

Tradish tries to collect as little as possible while still keeping the app working well. The Privacy and Security screen is where you manage your data, and it includes a single diagnostics toggle so the choice is yours. Open it from your profile, under Account.

The diagnostics toggle

The toggle is labeled Share Diagnostic Logs, with the note "Send error reports when something breaks." It controls whether Tradish sends crash and error reports.

Here is how the screen explains it: "Tradish only sends a report when the app hits an error or crashes. These reports tell us what went wrong so we can find and fix problems fast. Turn this off and we'll stop sending them."

What that means

  • A report is sent only when something goes wrong, like an error or a crash. Nothing is sent during normal use.
  • The point of a report is to show what broke, so problems can be found and fixed quickly.
  • If you turn the toggle off, Tradish stops sending these reports.

It is on you to decide. Leaving it on helps make the app more stable for everyone by surfacing bugs. Turning it off is always fine, and you can flip it back at any time from the same screen.
